Clark University has launched a redesigned news hub that captures the people, events, and research that make this a special learning community.

ClarkNow combines the best elements of our former two news hubs, ClarkNow (yes, we’ve kept the name) and ResearchMatters (we’re using this name, too). We will continue to publish news, features, and photos about our campus community. We’re also devoting an entire section to highlight faculty, student, and alumni researchers and focus on their work and publications.

The redesigned ClarkNow includes sections on:

  • The latest news and features about Clark’s campus, happenings, and research, with the ability to search for stories via an A-Z Topics list or via broader categories. We’ve integrated stories and links to Clark magazine.
  • “Clark in the News,” with links to University, faculty, student, staff, and alumni stories in the news media.
  • A list of Clark’s expert sources on various research topics.
  • A “Points of View” section featuring a revolving gallery of photos and a link to Clark’s live campus webcam.

Check out these recent stories published on ClarkNow:

  • Clark kicks off new school year with big, warm welcome
  • Biology professor, alumna collaborate with Worcester’s EcoTarium to create ‘Fungal Tree of Life’ exhibit

We’re also featuring stories from Clark magazine, such as:

  • A family, a gift, and a decades-long love for Clark: When Blossom Brooks died in 2017, she didn’t forget her ties to Clark, leaving $4.7 million
  • Iconic Clark pea pod is revived for the next generation of Clarkies
  • Hurricane Maria ‘a game changer’: Clark students and alumni from Puerto Rico struggle with the question, ‘Is this our new normal?’

Clark news and feature stories like these are being shared throughout the University’s new website, on the home page, academic program pages, research pages, alumni and friends site, and more. We’re also promoting these stories and photos on our social media channels.
