Students interested in careers in the internet, software, and technology fields will have an opportunity to meet industry professionals and learn about career pathways during the first Career Exploration Week of the spring 2024 semester.
Career Exploration Weeks, organized by the Career Connections Center, allow students to explore career opportunities in various industries by networking with employers, alumni, and peers who have landed internships and jobs. Career Exploration Weeks are open to students in all majors and class years.

Internet, software, and technology week will highlight career paths in software engineering, information technology, product management, data science, game design, and more.
An employer pop-up career fair will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24. Employers attending the pop-up include Medical Information Technology, Inc. (MEDITECH), Massachusetts Digital Games Institute, Esri, Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, MAPFRE Insurance, and Resourcesoft, Inc.
During a networking event from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, students will hear from a panel of Clark alumni who work in tech roles, including Will Colan ’12, product manager at Wayfair; Shashank Gupta, M.S. ’21, data engineer at CVS Health; and Samantha Hughson ’19, software engineer at LEGO Education.
Career Exploration Weeks are a signature event at Clark. During the fall semester, students attended exploration weeks for business, marketing, finance, and consulting as well as healthcare, biotech, and life sciences.
