Hundreds of well-wishers filled the galleries of the Fitchburg Art Museum on Feb. 8 for the opening reception of Stephen DiRado, Better Together: Four Decades of Photographs, a retrospective of the work of the longtime professor of photography. Friends, fans, family, and Clark colleagues were treated to 75 black-and-white images, over 1,000 projected color images, and three videos about the artist and his work, which included photos from his memorable Bell Pond, Worcester Center Galleria, and Martha’s Vineyard series.
