From the Clarkives: Woodland Street, 1964

September 15, 2022

The center of campus looked a little different almost 60 years ago — and not just because of the classic cars.

Woodland Street, 1964
The view from the intersection of Downing and Woodland streets in 1964. Woodland Street was open to vehicles from May Street to Maywood, running along the back of Jonas Clark Hall. On the right is the Clark President’s home, which was demolished to make way for Goddard Library.
