The Center for Gender, Race, and Area Studies is hosting the launch event for Difficult Dialogues on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on Monday, April 19, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The event will include a panel on the history of Difficult Dialogues on Clark’s campus and its re-engagement in the present moment. Participants will contribute through a dialogic structure that emphasizes listening and understanding.
Panelists are Eric DeMeulenaere, associate professor in the Department of Education; Michael Vidal, director for diversity and inclusive excellence; Sobia Khokhar ’22, and Sophia Stewart-Chapman ’22.
Difficult Dialogues is free and open to the Clark community. Registration is required.
