Since October 2020, 17 Clark students have worked to develop their business ventures as part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program’s annual Ureka Challenge. Each of the 15 ventures was awarded seed money of $100, and the student entrepreneurs have dedicated themselves to growing their businesses, with mentorship from entrepreneurship faculty in the School of Management.
The students will give their final presentations on their ventures — and vie for up to $5,000 in funding — on Friday, March 26, beginning at 10 a.m.; the program will be livestreamed here. The 2021 Ureka judging panel includes Professor Ulysses Youngblood and Clark alumni Debra Harrsch ’80, Keith Miller ’88, Adi Tibrewal, MBA ’05, Vicky Marino ’08, Nathalya Castro Argueta ’18, MBA ’19, and Trevor Tarnowski ’20. Awards will be presented at 5 p.m.
