July 22, 2015
By ClarkNews

The Graduate School of Management and the International Development, Community, and Environment Department are proud to announce that two dual-degree graduate students have been chosen as Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) Climate Corps fellows this year. Christian Davies (MBA/MS-Environmental Science & Policy, ’16), and Edward Snook (MBA/MS-Environmental Science and Policy, ’16) will be two of the 117 EDF Climate Corps fellows from across the country working with organizations to help change the way they utilize energy.

Christian Davies of Wheaton, Illinois, and Edward Snook of Auburn, Maine, both working toward an MBA/MS in Environmental Science and Policy (2016), will be two of the 117 EDF Climate Corps fellows from across the country working with organizations to help change the way they utilize energy.  Davies will join a team at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center in La Jolla, California, and Snook will work with CA Technologies, an internet and technology services company in Framingham, Massachusetts.

The students were chosen among nearly 700 applicants to the EDF Climate Corps program, placing Clark among six Massachusetts colleges and 80 graduate schools nationwide representing the fellows.

“By analyzing data, crafting financing solutions and evaluating energy management practices within these leading organizations, the EDF Climate Corps Class of 2015 fellows will be driving forward a new era in energy management,” stated Megan Dupuy, Outreach Coordinator, EDF Climate Corps.

More information on Davies’ and Snook’s projects and experiences will be available and shared at the start of the fall semester.
