Clark University sits high in the top third of Forbes’ annual “America’s Best Colleges” report, occupying spot #161 among the 610 schools recognized this year.
Forbes conducts its rankings with research from the Center for College Affordability & Productivity, and also presents results as offering a “student’s point of view.”
In its Aug. 11 special report, Forbes writes, “Whether they’re in the top 10 or near the end of the list, all 610 schools in this ranking count among the best in the country: We review just 9 percent of the 6,600 accredited postsecondary institutions in the U.S., so appearing on our list at all is an indication that a school meets a high standard.”
Clark University also was recognized recently as one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education, according to the college guidebook, “The Best 373 Colleges: 2011 Edition,” released by The Princeton Review and included as one of 218 institutions listed on its “Best in the Northeast” section.
